There are many options available for renting out the McElmo Inn.
We can rent out the house or break up the house to fit the needs of your group. We have a 3 night minimum on all rentals. The rates are based on the number of bedrooms required. The Inn can be configured from 1-4 bedrooms depending on your needs. The 1 bedroom option includes the Powder Horn apartment and has a private entrance. The 2 BR option includes Powder Horn and La Garita (entire lower level). The 3 BR option includes Lizard Head suite, Mesa Verde and Mt Sneffles rooms. The 3 BR option includes the entire main and second floor as well as the large back deck. The deck includes the 8 person hot tub, outdoor furniture and BBQ. No pets, and No fires are allowed on the property
No smoking inside of the house- smoking is allowed outside 100 feet from any building.
Powderhorn Apartment Rentals- Please contact us for availability and prices. This apartment may be rented out from one month to one year depending on availability.
The entire Inn can be rented out for a monthly price of $4500+ (4 Bedroom)
These are the policies regarding the rental agreement.
Arrival/ Departure Information: Check in time is 4PM and check out is 10AM (unless otherwise noted on your reservation). Requests for early check in and late check out will be based on availability. Please check out promptly at 10AM on the day of your departure. Our cleaners need amble amount of time to clean and sanitize the house in between guest stays.
Before check out we ask that you:
Inform us of anything that may have been broken during your stay
If you have used any kitchen supplies- please load and run the dishwasher before departure
Please throw out any of the items you have left in the refrigerator
Trash- please put the trash in the trash can located on the property
If you are staying with us on a Thursday- please bring the trash can located on the front porch out to the road for pick up and bring it back to the front porch on Friday after the trash has been picked up.
Please strip all the beds and leave sheets on floor of the bedroom the sheets are from. Please pile all the used/dirty towels on floor or bathtub/shower of the bathroom they are from…. you can put used/dirty towels from hot tub in any bathroom
Please check the property for any personal items, including chargers.
Turn off all lights, close and lock all windows and doors before your depart.
McElmo Inn is a vacation property and your group will be in charge of stocking it with whatever supplies are needed during your stay.
Cleaning Fee: There will be no daily housekeeping during your stay. There is a laundry room located in the house that you are free to use during your stay. You must provide your own laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets and whatever other cleaning supplies you may need. There are extra towels located in the laundry room if you need for your group during your stay. Your group will be in charge of stocking up on anything you run out in during your stay. The cleaning fee is a surcharge to clean your space after you depart the house. We thoroughly clean and sanitize all surfaces and the disinfect the house in between guest stays. Our cleaners are making extraordinary efforts to assure the safety of all of our guests.
Payment: A full payment of your reservation is required at time of reservation, payment by check is preferred. Security deposit is due upon your arrival, also payable by check or cash.
Cancellations: For all rentals: We require a security deposit of at least $250-$500 and a cleaning fee of $100-$450 based on how many rooms you will be renting. A refundable security deposit is collected at time of check-in for room/house rentals. It is refunded within 7 days of check-out if everything is left in order. We have a STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY. No refunds will be made under any circumstances. Please contact us for details.
For monthly rentals: Application/Background check through Zillow is required. Security deposit of 1 month rent is due at time of lease signing. If rent is not paid within a 5 day grace period of each month a $50 late fee is charged. A $50 return check fee is charged if the check is returned unpaid by the bank.
Parking: Parking is free. We do have many parking areas available. We have space for you to park your RV as well (we do not have RV hook ups) .
